Despite the positive advancements in machine learning and intelligence, security professionals remain overwhelmed. How is it that we keep wasting time and energy on analyzing and assembling the information presented by our supposedly “intelligent” solutions? Dan Plastina helps to lead the Information Protection and Threat Protection teams at Microsoft. He is most known for his work on the Information Protection side, where he leads the Azure Information Protection product which includes Azure RMS, Active Directory RMS, and the new classification and labeling offerings. Plastina now also helps to lead several teams providing critical threat protection assets: Intelligent Security Graph, security-focused machine learning services, file detonation services, threat intelligence services, an interactive security bot interface, as well as compromise investigation services.
