An accomplished IT leader with 16+ years of international experience in all phases of technology management and a successful track record of delivering Transformation , Governance, Architecture and Security programs.
Pravin Kumar is currently working with Qatar Islamic bank, Doha as Head of IT Security & GRC and CIO Office reporting to CIO. His major responsibilities are to manage Enterprise Architecture initiative, IT Security and Network, Risk mitigation program, Governance Framework (Cobit 5) implementation, DR Program management, Compliance, IT Security operation, IT Finance ( Capex and Opex) etc. Previously, he worked with HDFC bank as Head of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) and Head of OITS. He was the project director for ISO 27K and ISO 20K and BCMS implementation in HDFC Bank.
He also headed the Information Security division of Life Insurance Corporation of India. He is subject matter expert of Governance, Information Security, Risk, Project and Portfolio Management, Business Continuity, Service Management, Strategic Alignment with business, tc. Mr. Pravin has managed many big ticket projects of average worth $1M
He is having more than 16 years of international experience in different domains of IT and also acquired certifications such as CGEIT ( Certified Governance Professional in Enterprise IT), PMP, CISM, CISA, CISSP, ITIL V3 etc. He is one of the topper in CGEIT Exam conducted by ISACA, USA.
He is also regular faculty for ISACA and PMI Mumbai Chapter and also frequently delivers speech in different educational seminar. Mr. Pravin Kumar is also MBA from JBIMS, India’s one of the top business school
